Job description

Full Stack Software Engineer - Python/React

Location: Tampa, FL - Hybrid, 3 days in office
Salary: $100,000-$140,000 base salary, based on experience and skills
Work authorization: US work authorization required. We do not sponsor visas.

Elite Insurance Partners is building a technology-first insurance organization focused on automation, modern software systems, AI-assisted workflows, and better digital experiences for customers and internal teams.

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can build reliable web applications, backend services, integrations, and internal tools using Python, React, JavaScript, and SQL. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving business problems, owning meaningful technical work, and working on a small team where engineers have real impact.

What you will do:

  • Build and improve internal and user-facing applications using React, Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms
  • Help deploy, operate, and improve cloud-based services in AWS
  • Work with data workflows, reporting needs, and cloud data warehouse tools such as Snowflake
  • Turn prototypes, automations, and internal tools into reliable production-ready applications
  • Partner with technical and non-technical teams to understand business needs and explain tradeoffs
  • Contribute to clean code, documentation, code reviews, and engineering best practices
  • Build with security, data sensitivity, and compliance in mind

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience building production web applications
  • Experience with React or a similar modern frontend framework
  • Experience building APIs, backend services, or system integrations
  • Practical experience with AWS or another cloud platform
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

  • FastAPI experience
  • Snowflake or cloud data warehouse experience
  • MuleSoft or other integration platform experience
  • Experience with AWS ECS, ECR, or containerized services
  • Data engineering or analytics engineering experience
  • Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, observability, or monitoring experience
  • Experience with AI, voice AI, or conversational tools
  • Experience working on a small team where engineers wear multiple hats
