We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Web Developer with strong experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP 8.0, MariaDB 10.11, web flow, AWS and web server management (Apache/Linux). The ideal candidate will have handsโ€on experience working with WooCommerce and WordPress and will be familiar with modern web security practices and malware protection.
As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, optimization, and security of our clientโ€facing eCommerce platforms, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. You will collaborate with other crossโ€functional teams to deliver highโ€quality, featureโ€rich, and secure web applications.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The job duties include, but are not limited to
Web Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress + WooCommerce as well as Suite Commerce Advanced websites, ensuring full functionality, responsiveness, and high performance.
Backend Development: Write and optimize backend code using PHP 8.0, Web flow and MariaDB 10.11, ensuring efficient database interactions and logic for dynamic content.
Server Management: Configure and maintain Linuxโ€based Apache servers for optimal performance and security, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal downtime.
Security and Performance: Implement best practices for web security (e.g., WAF, DDoS protection, malware scanning)
Eโ€commerce Optimization: Develop, configure, and maintain WooCommerce/Suite Commerce Advanced storefronts, ensuring smooth integration with payment gateways, shipping providers, and other thirdโ€party services.
Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and other development teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Troubleshooting: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to both frontend and backend systems.
Version Control: Use version control tools such as Git for source code management and collaboration.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, configurations, and processes to ensure clarity and consistency in team workflows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a SCA/Full Stack Developer or similar role.
3+ years of experience with Suite Commerce Advanced/WooCommerce and WordPress development.
Strong experience in Full Stack Web Development, particularly with Suite Commerce Advanced, WordPress and WooCommerce.
Solid knowledge of PHP 8.0, MariaDB 10.11, Web flow, AWS and modern serverโ€side web technologies.
Experience with Apache web server administration in a Linux environment.
Solid understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of version control using Git and collaborative development workflows.
