This client is seeking a Utility/Fiber Locator to support field operations across telecommunications and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow within a global organization and build a career in fiber optics, DOT projects, and intelligent infrastructure systems. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. The client is committed to training and developing talent in utility locating, fiber optics, and Department of Transportation (DOT) systems. Perform underground utility locating using electromagnetic and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) equipment Identify and mark fiber optic and other underground utilities in accordance with industry and safety standards Interpret and review utility maps, prints, and GIS data Support fiber optic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field crews on infrastructure projects Conduct site surveys and document findings accurately Ensure compliance with 811/Dig Safe regulations and all local/state safety guidelines Assist with fiber optic cable testing and basic network verification (training provided) Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality Travel locally to job sites as required
