Accretive Technology Group — Full-Stack Software Engineer

Location — This role is fully remote in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, or Washington.

Position Summary — We are seeking Mid-Level and Senior Software Engineers with expertise in back-end technologies to join our Member Accounts Engineering team in a remote-based position. Working closely with Product, Operations, and fellow Engineering teams, you'll design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable applications that support our core member account experiences, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities —
Software Development & Architecture
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Design and build scalable, reliable back-end applications and services
  • Contribute to application and system architecture, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with business needs
Collaboration & Engineering Excellence
  • Work closely with Product and Operations to deliver sustainable, scalable solutions
  • Elevate engineering best practices through code reviews, mentoring, and innovation
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers to share knowledge, solve technical challenges, and improve development processes
Qualification and Experience Requirements —
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Experience with MariaDB, MySQL, or another relational database
  • Competent with PHP
  • Experience with application and system design and architecture
  • Proficiency with Git and version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies
  • Experience with event-driven architecture
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, JUnit, or similar)
  • Experience delivering software in an iterative environment using Agile methodologies
  • Self-driven problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong collaborator who believes software development is a team sport
  • Lifelong learner who embraces new technologies and freely shares knowledge

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum salary pay for this position is $131,347 to $177,704 as a Software Engineer III or $154,830 to $209,475 as a Senior Software Engineer. The successful candidate’s placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, such as qualifications and level of professional experience. Employees in this position may be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary profit-sharing program.
