Job Description
Our tech startup client is building a video platform that brings together content creators, publishers, and end-users. The company has developed a fast, context-matching video player that is in use on several large web properties. The startup is rapidly growing, adding new clients, and continuously developing additional exciting platform functionality.
The tech startup is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the tech team.
As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on all layers of the infrastructure for the video platform.
Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the rest of the tech team to design, develop and launch new features for our video player and web platform.
  • Owning your piece of the product - you will support it all the way from conception through deployment and resolving post-release bugs.
  • Maintaining quality and proactively looking for ways to increase performance and reliability of the application.
  • Innovation! We are always looking for efficient new ways to solve problems as they arise.

Qualifications
What You Need for this Position:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • 3+ years of professional web application development experience.
  • Backend programming experience with NodeJS and Python.
  • Experienced with both developing and consuming APIs.
  • Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (we use VueJS).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where we deploy to production multiple times a day.
  • Bonus points if experienced with web video player development or experienced with AWS services, (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Code Commit) and Docker containers.
