Description
Position: Computer Engineer II
SAIC is seeking a Computer Engineer II to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. This position supports systems integration and development testing for the Testing Infrastructure Group (TIG). TIG at NSWC Crane provides specialized, high-reliability facilities and engineering expertise for the full life cycle --design, development, test, and evaluation --of Navy strategic systems, electronic warfare, and weapon systems. They focus on critical testing for radiation hardening, hardware-in-the-loop, and complex electronic systems to ensure mission success. You will be working onsite in a fast paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. SECRETCLEARANCE Requirement: Interim Secret to start. Continued employment contingent upon favorable final Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain software code and components based on defined requirements and design specifications
  • Support full SDLC, including coding, unit tests, integration, and defect resolution
  • Support system integration and Developmental Test (DT) activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Contribute to technical documentation (design desc., test procedures, guides)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems engineering, cybersecurity, T&E)
  • Follow configuration management and version control processes
  • Implement secure coding practices and support RMF-aligned requirements

Qualifications
