Description:
  • You will contribute to building scalable backend services using Java/Spring and modern user interfaces using Angular and Node.js within a distributed architecture. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help deliver production-grade solutions and continuously improve your skills across cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and observability.
  • You will also leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and support different phases of the SDLC.
In this role, you will:
  • Design, develop, and own Java-based backend services and REST APIs in a distributed architecture
  • Build and enhance UI applications using Angular and Node.js
  • Own end-to-end delivery: design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation
  • Ensure high-quality code through reviews, testing (unit/integration), and automation
Core Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Angular (2+) and Node.js
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable, production-grade applications
 
Core Engineering Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed systems
  • Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices
  • Experience in test-driven development (unit, integration testing) 
 
Work experience of 3-5 years
  • Experience with cloud platforms (PCF, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, logging, monitoring)
  • Exposure to AI tools for assisted development during SDLC phases
 
Senior Level:
As a senior engineer, you will – 
·      Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
·      Deploy and manage applications on PCF or Kubernetes
·      Develop engaging and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
·      Participate in PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the department with selection of vendor solutions, technologies, methodologies and frameworks. 
·      Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
·      Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
·      Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
·      Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
·      Ensure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing and Performance Testing. 
·      Mentor junior engineers and share your expertise. 
·      Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

·      Overall 9 years of career experience into Full Stack Development
·      Strong proficiency in Java and Spring boot framework
·      Experience designing and developing microservices
·      Experience with PCF, K8s, Docker, or other cloud platforms
·      Solid understanding of front-end development principles and experience with Angular/React frameworks
·      Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
·      Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostGreSQL. Well versed with writing efficient and optimised queries
·      Experience with Restful API design and development
·      Experience leveraging or developing solutions using Information Security-related concepts: Cryptography – X.509, public key cryptography standards, JWT, hashing, digital signatures
·      Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
 
Good to have:
·      Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
