We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. Full stack developers are responsible for developing and designing front end architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and collaborating with UI/UX teams.

Our team develops the digital connectivity suite called IQ Enterprise Connectivity for Infusion Pumps which offers an infusion therapy option that integrates with innovative digital health solutions to advance the safety and efficiency of medication delivery and management.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing backend systems that support enterprise healthcare applications.
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop high-quality, testable software that meets product, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, standups, design reviews, retrospectives, and software demonstrations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members, sharing best practices and subject matter expertise.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and drive software quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Implement automated testing and continuous improvement practices while staying current with emerging web technologies, development frameworks, and industry trends.
What you\'ll bring
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field with 7+ years of proven experience designing and developing web applications.
  • Experience as a full stack engineer who can comfortably move between the front-end (UI JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS/Angular JS/React JS)and back end (C#, .Net Core).
  • Emphasis on designing and building back-end systems, RESTful API\'s, and building systems at scale.
  • Proven understanding of database technologies including PostgreSQL, SQL/MSSQL, and Azure storage tables.
  • Experience with securing web applications using tokens.
  • Experience with containerized components Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with software application architecture design and optimization
  • Ability to design data models supporting long-term binary data collection for AI applications.
  • Proven design and programming fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and issue tracking.
  • Medical device experience is preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000-$165,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.

This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
