We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 10+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in Python and AWS cloud technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and services in cloud environments. The candidate should have a strong understanding of software architecture, API development, cloud-native applications, microservices, and DevOps practices.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Python.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop scalable and secure applications using AWS compute, storage, database, networking, and messaging services.
  • Work with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Develop and integrate APIs and microservices.
  • Implement event-driven and serverless architectures where appropriate.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
  • Develop unit tests and integration tests and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Use Git and modern software development practices for source control and collaboration.
  • Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
  • Strong experience developing enterprise-grade applications and backend services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
