Job description
CloudHealth is looking for a talented and motivated full stack engineer capable of designing, developing and supporting a complex and fast-growing cloud-based SaaS application. We value an analytic mind, an independent spirit, a passion for the craft of software engineering, and an ability to execute in a fast-moving startup environment. We believe that technology stacks change over time, but great engineers are always great engineers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and ship software supporting a highly available, fault tolerant SaaS application
- Produce high quality software designs to support long term maintainability and extensibility of code
- Deliver to Agile development process
- Produce high quality and well-documented code
- Contribute to relevant open source projects
Qualifications
- 4+ years commercial software development experience
- 1+ years production work with cloud services
- Experience web development using modern framework (e.g. Django Rails)
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Distributed source control experience with Git
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Bonus: knowledge of Chef & Ruby (JRuby)
