This role requires strong expertise in AWS, Databricks, Power BI, Grafana, JIRA, and Confluence, along with hands-on experience in modern frontend/UI development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust user-facing applications, integrating backend services and data pipelines, and ensuring performance, reliability, and observability across the full technology stack. This role requires strong ownership, collaboration, and the ability to work across engineering, DevOps, data, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack applications, including frontend UI components, backend APIs, and cloud-native services
  • Build responsive, reusable, and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern UI frameworks, ensuring performance, accessibility, and consistency across applications
  • Develop and support backend services and APIs for application integration, business logic, and data access
  • Architect and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and related services
  • Integrate applications with Databricks and AWS-based data platforms to support data processing, analytics, and reporting use cases
  • Enable business reporting and insight generation by supporting integration with Power BI dashboards and data models
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and application health dashboards using Grafana and cloud monitoring tools
  • Collaborate in Agile teams using JIRA for sprint planning and tracking, and maintain technical documentation in Confluence
  • Work closely with DevOps, data engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of features and releases
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, coding standards, reusable frameworks, and engineering best practices
  • Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across frontend, backend, and platform teams

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience
  • Experience in full stack software engineering or application development
  • Strong hands-on experience in frontend/UI development using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar
  • Strong experience in backend development using Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies
  • Solid expertise in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM
  • Experience integrating applications with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience working with Power BI for reporting integration, dashboard enablement, or data model support
  • Hands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring, dashboard creation, and observability
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and application integration patterns
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data access patterns, and backend-to-data platform integration
  • Experience working in Agile teams using JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with Databricks workflows, Spark, and Lakehouse concepts
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and serverless design patterns
  • Exposure to Power BI administration or advanced dashboard integration
