As a part of our outpatient office, you will be supported by a comprehensive administrative team that manages billing, marketing, and client referrals, allowing our clinicians to focus on what they do best—helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

As a Mental Health Counselor at New Beginnings, you will:

• Collaborate directly with clients to establish and achieve personalized treatment goals, ensuring their voices are central to the therapeutic process.

• Offer prevention-oriented therapy that addresses not only existing issues but also fosters resilience and coping strategies for future challenges.

• Implement and regularly review individualized treatment plans, adapting them as needed to meet each client's evolving needs.

• Engage with additional treatment providers, placement agencies, and community resources to create a holistic support network for clients.

• Ensure timely and thorough documentation of sessions, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards in mental health while maintaining accurate case notes for effective continuity of care.

• Participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss client progress, and contribute to a culture of collective learning and improvement.

• Contribute positively to the workplace environment, promoting a supportive and cooperative culture that enriches our team dynamics.

Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing various mental health concerns. As a counselor, you will work closely with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is required.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling or related fields, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques and approaches.

• Familiarity with community mental health resources and the ability to navigate these effectively to support clients' needs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for clear and compassionate interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
