American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Alliance, Nebraska.

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Alliance, NE 69301

Start Date: August 18, 2026

Location: Alliance, Nebraska

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Self-scheduling on a rotational basis with every third weekend. Shift differential of $5.00 per hour applies.

Highlights:
  • 13-week travel assignment (88 days) in a supportive, low-volume obstetrics department
  • Approximately 80 deliveries per year with 2 birthing suites; couplet care model with mom and baby rooming together
  • One RN in OB at a time with additional support allocated when a second patient arrives
  • Attend cesarean sections as needed, responsible for maternal care with full surgical team support
  • Float to Medical-Surgical Patient Care Unit when no OB patients present
  • Comprehensive orientation including three days of classroom training and one preceptor shift
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification through American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare services not available in this area)
  • Current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and seasonal influenza
  • Completion of comprehensive background checks, drug screening, and health assessments
