You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER in the COMMANDER NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND (CNIC) FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER PUGET SOUND (FLCPS) of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA.Qualifications:In order to qualify for the position, your resume must provide sufficient experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. The Screen-out Element for this position is: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF A FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER, WG-5413-08, WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION such as:
  • Experience operating complex workstations or portions of a large fuel distribution system and other portions of the system, in order to coordinate work with others.
  • Experience using automated controls in the fuel control center and demonstrating skill in using numerous controls to properly regulate the flow of the liquids in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Experience performing assignments according to manuals and prescribed directives that outline the work to be performed, and the safety and security measures needed to avoid potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Experience operating fuel tank trucks of up to 36,000 lbs. GVW over public highways and in tight spaces at vessel docking areas.
