Job Description

Responsible for supporting accurate and timely accounting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, with a focus on the month-end accounting cycle and operational reporting.ย 

  • Terminal Accounting & Revenue Supportย 

    • Support terminal revenue accounting and revenue accrualsย 

    • Reconcile general ledger activity to operational reporting systemsย 

    • Research billing discrepancies and accounting questionsย 

  • Operational Reportingย 

    • Prepare tonnage, throughput, royalty, KPI, and operational reportsย 

    • Compile and distribute financial and operational reporting informationย 

  • Support terminal-related payment requests and AP coordinationย 

    • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support auditsย 

    • Support process improvement initiativesย 

    • Perform special projects as assignedย 

    • Assist in budget preparation as neededย 

    • Supportย adย hoc requests from operations and finance departmentsย 

    • Payment & Process Supportย 

Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial records, and U.S. GAAP conceptsย ย 

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistencyย 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify questions, follow logic, and research discrepanciesย 

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial or operational dataย 

  • Organized and able to manage recurring deadlines and competing prioritiesย 

  • Clear written and verbal communication skillsย 

  • Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new systems, processes, and business operationsย 

  • Exercises good judgment and maintains confidentiality when working withย financialย informationย

Pay Range: $55,000 to $65,000
