Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to support U.S. federal and U.S. international tax matters for a growing renewable energy organization. This role will assist in overseeing income tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the Company's U.S. and cross-border operations, with a particular focus on international tax reform initiatives and ASC 740 income tax accounting.
Key Responsibilities
U.S. Federal Tax
  • Coordinate with external advisors in the management and preparation of U.S. federal income tax compliance, including Forms 1120, 1065, and related schedules and disclosures
  • Support the quarterly and annual income tax provision process under ASC 740
  • Maintain SOX internal controls over tax processes and interface effectively with external auditors
  • Support IRS audits, notices, and other tax controversy matters
  • Track and summarize legislative and regulatory tax developments

U.S. International Tax
  • Prepare and coordinate U.S. international tax compliance filings, including Forms 5471, 5472, and 8858
  • Assist with calculations and reporting for GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and BEAT
  • Support global minimum tax and international regulatory initiatives, including OECD Pillar Two and other global tax reform developments
  • Prepare U.S. international tax modeling and analyses in support of tax planning initiatives
  • Support transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with global standards
  • Assist with tax planning and strategy for cross-border restructurings

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's in Tax or JD/LLM preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in corporate tax accounting, compliance, and/or income tax provision preparation, preferably within a large multinational corporation and/or a Big Four public accounting firm
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating independent drive and professionalism in a multinational setting

Additional Skills
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems is a plus
