On the Fishhooks program, you will be responsible for developing system level artifacts and engaging with customers, mission partners, and other stakeholders to satisfy and fulfill customer directed objectives on a unique, new effort.

You will be part of a growing team building this new program and customer relationship from the ground up. As a member of the Systems Engineering team you will: Perform in an accelerated, collaborative, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors Ensure consistency of requirements and traceability back to customer objectives Develop the verification details for the requirements to ensure that the system is able to meet the requirements and support the execution of these verification activities Support the successful execution of program Interim Design Reviews Development of systems engineering documentation such as feature description documents, trade studies, Interface Control Documents. Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications Experience working with Agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment Experience developing Systems Engineering artifacts (e.g. requirements, architecture, procedures, etc.) Prior experience with Ground Systems for Space Missions Current TS/SCI Security Clearance Desired Skills Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with systems engineering toolsets Experience with system engineering artifacts, processes, and models with respect to ground systems to manage and/or control space missions Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JIRA, and Confluence

Ability to interact with software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied Ability to understand complex Space mission command and control concepts Experience with Integration testing, software testing, system testing and independent verification and validation as well as operational system checkout. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and deploying applications to test environments Experience writing, reviewing, tracing, and verifying requirements Experience developing system architectures Experience working with external interfaces and generating documentation (e.g. ICDs) to support integration with those interfaces Familiarity with scripting and/or demo preparation, planning, and execution Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, and must maintain the required security throughout the course of employment

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
