SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Fuel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the airport's fuel operations, including storage, distribution, and quality control. This senior role involves strategic planning and management to ensure efficient and safe fueling services, compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and coordination with airlines, regulatory agencies, and airport authorities. You will lead a team of professionals, setting objectives, managing budgets, and implementing policies and procedures to optimize fuel operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, addressing any operational challenges, and staying informed about industry trends and technological advancements in aviation fuel management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Oversee all aspects of the airport's fuel operations, including storage, distribution, and quality controlย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Develop and implement strategies for efficient and safe fuel managementย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Manage relationships with fuel suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring steady supplyย

QUALIFICATIONS

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  18 years of age or older

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Must hold a valid driver's license.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  5 years of experience in aviation fuel management, including supervisory rolesย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance related to aviation fuelย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams and complex projectsย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Proficiency in budgeting, strategic planning, and operations managementย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and partnersย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
