What We Are Looking For
The Fuels Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering fuel products safely and efficiently to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The driver will ensure the timely and accurate distribution of fuels, including gasoline, diesel, propane, and other petroleum products, while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safe driving practices.
What You Will Do
  • Safely operate fuel delivery trucks, following DOT and company safety guidelines.
  • Deliver fuel products to customer locations as scheduled, ensuring accurate and timely service.
  • Maneuver large delivery trucks safely, often in tight or congested areas, such as residential streets, narrow driveways, or busy commercial lots.
  • Connect and operate fuel hoses, ensuring a secure connection to prevent spills during loading and unloading.
  • Handle fuel delivery equipment, such as meters, nozzles, and gauges, to ensure accurate fuel transfers.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and operational.
  • Load and unload fuel from trucks, following safety protocols to avoid spills or accidents.
  • Accurately complete required paperwork, including delivery tickets, mileage logs, and inspection reports.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding fuel transportation and delivery.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or changes in delivery schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain knowledge of fuel types, delivery equipment, and safe handling procedures.
  • Report any vehicle or equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
  • Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and in all driving activities

What You Will Need
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in propane, oil, or gas industry preferred.
  • Class B License (minimum required) with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
  • Current Medical Certification required.
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
  • Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals/fuels or fumes.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
