CDL Driver

T. Mina Supply East LLC

Class B CDL Driver / Pipe Yard Worker

Rochester, NY  • Full-Time  •  Monday–Friday, No Nights

About Us

T. Mina Supply East LLC, a subsidiary of the T. Mina Family of Companies, is a leading, fast-paced distributor of infrastructure, utility, and construction supplies. We support major contractors and municipalities across the Rochester and western New York State area.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Class B CDL driver to deliver our infrastructure and utility products to customers safely and on time. When not on the road, this position works alongside our team in the pipe yard — loading, unloading, staging material and general yard maintenance. This is a hands-on, dual role for someone who takes pride in doing the job right, whether behind the wheel or in the yard.

The Right Fit

Attitude matters as much as ability here. The people who succeed on our team share the same core traits:

  • A genuine team player who pitches in wherever the day's work is needed — on the truck or in the yard
  • Respectful and professional with coworkers, customers, and everyone on the job site
  • Dependable and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to stay busy
  • Takes ownership, communicates openly, and treats the job and the people around them with respect

Responsibilities

  • Transport water, sewer, and construction supply products to customers and job sites
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
  • Support pipe yard operations when not driving — loading, unloading, staging, and organizing material
  • Operate a forklift to move and stage product
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles driven, and retain fuel and toll receipts
  • Comply with all truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as company policies and procedures
  • Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class B or higher driver's license
  • No air brake restriction on CDL (able to operate air brake-equipped vehicles)
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Proven work experience as a truck driver, with knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (required)
  • No recent moving or driving violations
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations such as traffic and weather conditions
  • Willingness to work in the pipe yard and lift/move material as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $21.50 per hour

We offer a competitive benefits package, including:

  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Quarterly bonus
  • Yearly bonus
