Fuel Cell Mechanic

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Fuel Cell Mechanic for an opportunity in Greenville, South Carolina.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Services water separators, checks meters for correct delivery and calibration, overhauls system components such as pressure regulating valves and excess valves, disassembles, adjusts, aligns, and calibrates gauges and meters or replaces them, removes and installs equipment such as filters and piping to modify system or repair and replace system component. Duties include: cleaning fuel tanks and distribution lines, removing corrosion and repainting surfaces, overhauling vacuum and pressure vents, floating roof seals, hangers, and roof sumps, and maintaining record of inspections and repairs
    C-130 Fuel Cell entry, inspections, and maintenance. Need to be able to enter the opening of a C-130 fuel cell which is approximately 10” x 16”.
    YES this is a 2-3 Month assignment. Candidates must be ready to start early Sept.
    1st shift hours - between 5:30am and 4:30pm

Qualifications and requirements:

  • ~Needs to be able to enter the opening of a C-130 Fuel Cell which is approximately 10” x 16”.
    ~No Tools Required
    ~Confined Space experience
    ~Fuel Cell experience, pulling foam, troubleshooting leaks and other issues.
    ~C-130 experience a plus
