We are posting this job announcement to express our interest in collecting resumes of qualified individuals for the position of Fuel Driver, which may become available at any of our companies: Delta Western LLC, Alaska Petroleum Distributing LLC, and Inlet Energy LLC.


The positions will be based in various Alaskan locations, including Bethel, Dutch Harbor, Haines, Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Yakutat, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Prudhoe Bay. When submitting your application, please indicate the location(s) you are interested in working in.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Dock duties:

  • Provides home heating delivery including on-call and after-hours response
  • Operates and transports used oil truck
  • Fuel ISO loading and truck deliveries to commercial customers
  • Provides ground maintenance including snow removal, facility opening, and inspections
  • Assist with bulk inventory and warehouse assistance
  • Acts as a dock attendant and assists with barge operations 
  • Greet customers. Provides fuel to customers, ensuring safe fueling.
  • Completes purchase order requests and delivers to warehouse administrator. Delivers prepared packaged products and oil lubes to customers.
  • Deploys boom in event of a fuel spill.
  • Completes meter sheets and invoices and submits to the office in a timely manner.
  • Maintains dock and yard cleanliness, including strapping drums, cleaning drip pans, burning sorbents and used filters, banding pallets of drums, stacking employ pallets, and disposing of garbage.
  • Checks hoses and equipment daily for damage.
  • Driver duties:
  • Safely delivers fuel to home heating customers in a timely manner. Completes invoices and submits to the office daily. Reports to Foreperson, Lead or Manager any conditions that may make the delivery unsafe.
  • Other duties:
  • Clean as needed to maintain a professional appearance with trucks and facility.
  • Submits received credit applications to the office.
  • Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills, and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards.
