POSITION SUMMARY

This role is primarily responsible for providing fueling assistance at the marina dock, while also performing various additional duties to maintain terminal operations at the highest level possible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
A. JOB DUTIES
  • 1. FUEL SERVICES: Provides dock fueling at the marina, bulk fuel dispensing at the plant, off-loading of fuel barge and after-hours ferry fueling.
  • 2. CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES: Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers through front counter retail sales, truck dispatch and office duties to include answering phones and accurate invoicing. Runs errands using company truck.
  • 3. PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS REQUIRED: Performs a variety of general duties, restocking products, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and other routine functions.

D. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
  • Education: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of six months work experience preferably in a retail and/or gas station environment. Ability to follow safety procedures and general directions. Must have previous money handling, credit card and cash register.
  • Licensure/Certification: N/A
  • Other Qualifications: Must be willing to perform a variety of duties while working cooperatively with others. Must be courteous and respectful and possess a desire to perform at a high level while doing more than required. Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Attendance: Regular attendance is a requirement of this position. This position will be on call for after hour fueling call outs and does require over time. (Six days a week May through September).
