Job description

(Fort Worth, TX): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial maintenance background with experience repairing forklifts, cranes, pumps, and other heavy industrial equipment. This individual should be dependable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to long-term employment.


Essential Duties:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and craneway equipment.

Diagnose and repair engines, pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and industrial pumps.

Conduct preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Assist with and learn electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including 3-phase 480V systems.

Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.

Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.


Requirements/Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience preferred.

Experience repairing forklifts and craneway equipment is required.

Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, and pumps.

Working knowledge of 3-phase 480V electrical systems and willingness to expand electrical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to identify required maintenance supplies and properly utilize maintenance tools and equipment.

Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.


Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods.

Work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving machinery.

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.

Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
