SOCCENT OCONUS FSR (Part-Time)
Nightwing is seeking candidates for our customer's future staffing needs. The successful candidates would work as Part-time SOCCENT Tactical Advanced Sensors (TAS) Field Service Representative (FSR) in support of DoD contracts providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCCENT. Part-time employment conducting recurring 90-day rotations in SOCCENT OAR with 90 days off.
Work Location in SOCCENT AOR
* Must have an Active Top Secret clearance
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Mentor and advice senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) for utilizing Tactical Advanced Sensors (TAS) equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for employing TAS devices based on equipment capabilities and other critical factors.
  • Provide sustainment training as needed on specialized technical equipment
  • Coordination with Nightwing headquarters and SOCOM TCC TAS APM for specialized program support.
  • Assist users in maintaining and configuring TAS equipment for and in between various training exercises and operations.

Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, customers, and employees
  • Computer troubleshooting

Required skills:
  • Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity.
  • Recent combat experience
  • Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism objectives
  • Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: Osprey, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Printability
  • Travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision
  • Must be able to carry a 35-pound load with no assistance
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Software installation experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
