Overview

The Security Professional IV is responsible for all aspects of the security program for Collateral, Intelligence Community, and Special Access Program customers at our Arlington VA office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently to create and administer organizational security plans and operations for a variety of programs requiring Industrial Security and be able to make sound professional decisions when called upon. The Security Professional IV will take responsibility for all required documentation to maintain the facility and compliance of the security program and will make sure it is completed within the appropriate timelines. Candidates must have a willingness to interact with and support staff across the entire SRI security team.

This position will work onsite at our Arlington, VA office, the schedule will be standard business hours.

Responsibilities
  • Personnel security, physical security, OPSEC and overall program security within collateral, SAP and intelligence communities.
  • Program level writing and willingness to take on security responsibilities such as day-to-day security operations for classified Information
  • Establish and implement internal security procedures
  • Oversee security functions including the development of security plans.
  • Perform the duties as the CPSO and/or FSO to effectively communicate, orally and written, industrial security policy/procedural matters and deal tactfully with government and industrial personnel at all ranks, grades and levels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years related experience; a Master's degree with 5 years related experience, or 10+ years of experience without a degree.
  • US Citizen with current TS/SCI clearance and an ability to obtain SAP briefings from a variety of customers.
  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in Industrial Security with working knowledge in the SCI and SAP environment and a proven escalation of duties
  • Hands on experience using JADE, DISS, NBIS, MS Office, and SIMS.
  • Compilation of experience with a variety of security principles.
  • Can conduct pre-travel and post-travel briefings, and coordinate documentation with the customer.
  • Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using security management software and applications. Experience with SIMS is preferred. 
  • Must be available for occasional after-hours assistance.
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Some travel within the continental United States may be required.
  • Must be available to respond to security alarms to include after-hours if required.
  • Must be able and willing to push, pull, move 30+ pounds.
  • Must possess excellent speaking, writing, organizational and customer service skills.

The salary range is: $104,139-$137,979. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
