Job description

Facility Security Officer (FSO)

Golden Key Group is seeking a qualified Facility Security Officer (FSO) to oversee and manage all aspects of the organization's security program in compliance with U.S. Government and national security requirements. The FSO will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures necessary to protect classified information and ensure compliance with applicable security regulations and guidance from the Cognizant Security Agency (CSA). This position is being recruited in support of potential future contract awards, and qualified candidates may be considered for upcoming opportunities supporting federal government clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the security program to ensure compliance with applicable federal security regulations and U.S. Government security requirements.
  • Implement and manage procedures necessary to safeguard classified information and controlled materials.
  • Ensure the organization maintains compliance with CSA guidance and security directives.
  • Maintain proper documentation of FSO designation and security program requirements in accordance with government guidance.
  • Coordinate and manage personnel security actions, including clearance processing and access eligibility determinations.
  • Provide security guidance and training to personnel supporting classified programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with government security officials regarding security compliance and program requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required.
  • Must be formally designated in writing as the Facility Security Officer in accordance with Cognizant Security Agency (CSA) guidance.
  • Must successfully undergo and maintain a personnel security investigation and national security eligibility determination consistent with the organization's level of classified access.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Government security policies and procedures related to the protection of classified information.
