  • We are hiring dedicated, compassionate CNAs, Nurse Aides, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street/ Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga). Willingness to work additional shifts as needed.
  • Full-time CNA / Nurse Aide position in a convent home environment working 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Additional shifts available when needed.
    • Week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
    • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday

Responsibilities:

  • Our Nurse Aide / CNA / Caregiver provides compassionate, person-centered, direct care to elder Franciscan sisters, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
  • Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment. We believe care partners in all departments should be able to engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day. Education and Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
  • Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
