Overview:
The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wood, plywood, wallboard, doors, frames, hardware, and related building components. This role performs layout, fabrication, installation, and repair work in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable building codes.
What You'll Do:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine layout, materials, and construction methods.
  • Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
  • Layout and frame structures using standard carpentry tools (levels, squares, measuring devices).
  • Install and fasten materials including framing, doors, windows, hardware, paneling, and related components.
  • Construct and repair structural and finish carpentry elements such as partitions, subflooring, stairs, and cabinetry.
  • Verify work for accuracy, alignment, and structural integrity.
  • Safely use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment as needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow company safety standards, jobsite procedures, and applicable building codes.
