Job description

Performs a wide variety of tasks, including custodial work and set up/tear down in preparation for facility rentals. Assists with maintaining interior/exterior areas, including buildings, grounds, parking lot, public areas, restrooms, offices, and equipment. Completes safety inspections, light carpentry, and repair duties essential to maintaining the complex. Works independently, with general instructions for routine tasks. Works with considerable initiative to maintain all areas in high-quality condition. Provides internal and external customer service by answering simple facility-related questions.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in general laboring work.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
The selected candidate for this position MUST:
• Obtain First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification within six (6) months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications include:
• Customer service experience handling concerns/complaints,
• Experience working in a maintenance capacity, and
• Experience recognizing and utilizing a floor plan to set up and tear down in preparation for facility use.
