The Lead of Dairy Department oversees daily operations of the dairy section, focusing on ordering, inventory management, stocking, scheduling assistance, maintaining logs, and ensuring cleanliness and safety. This role supports the Dairy/Frozen Manager and ensures smooth, efficient department performance.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Ordering amp; Inventory Management: Prioritize ordering, manage inventory levels, and maintain stocked shelves.
โ€ข Product Quality: Ensure all dairy products are fresh, properly stored, and well-displayed. Remove expired items.
โ€ข Scheduling Assistance: Support creation and maintenance of staff schedules.
โ€ข Log Maintenance: Maintain receiving logs and necessary department documentation.
โ€ข Customer Service: Greet customers, provide courteous service, and handle special orders.
