Job description

The opportunity
Adobe's 3D & Immersive organization turns 3D content into experiences people actually use:
digital twins for ecommerce, interactive product views, and marketing-ready visuals on the web.
We are a senior team, and we need a front-end developer to design and build the interfaces
that make it all feel effortless!
This is a front-end and UX role at its core. You will own the experience end to end: interaction
design, component architecture, accessibility, and the performance that keeps it fast for
everyone. If you care as much about how a product feels as how it is built, we should talk.
What you'll do

  • Design and build polished, responsive web interfaces for consumer and professional audiences, from first sketch to shipped product.
  • Own the user experience end to end: interaction design, prototyping, and the decisions behind each flow, working closely with product and design.
  • Build accessible, high-performance UI in React and TypeScript, and shape the shared component system behind it.
  • Turn 3D and digital-twin content into interfaces that stay intuitive for people new to 3D.
  • Partner with design, product, and backend engineers to move ambiguous ideas into production.

What you need to succeed
We value range and craft over a checklist. We look for most of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, design, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Delivery: ships polished consumer and professional web products to real audiences.
  • UX ownership: drives interaction design, prototyping, and the decisions behind each flow, not just handoffs.
  • Customizable platforms: creates modular UI that end users adapt into their own platforms and workflows.
  • Theming and templates: designs themeable, templatable interfaces so customers restyle layout and branding without code.
  • Craft: works fluently in React and TypeScript, with modern CSS layout and an eye for visual detail.
  • Accessibility: builds inclusive UI with WCAG, keyboard, and screen-reader support.
  • Performance: tunes for fast loads, smooth interactions, and healthy Core Web Vitals.
  • Design systems: extends component libraries and design tokens for consistency at scale.
  • Collaboration: communicates technical ideas clearly and partners well across a multi-functional team.

Bonus points

  • Design and code fluency (Figma plus front-end) that closes the gap between design and engineering.
  • 3D or interactive graphics on the web (WebGL/WebGPU, three.js or Babylon.js).
  • Motion and micro-interactions that bring a product to life.
  • Data visualization or complex, canvas-based interfaces.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or design systems.

Who tends to thrive here

We think this role fits someone who:

  • Cares about the details users notice and the ones they do not.
  • Moves from first sketch to production quickly without losing polish.
  • Treats accessibility and performance as defaults, not follow-ups.
  • Turns hard technical problems into simple, usable interfaces.

Sound like you? We would love to meet you!
