Position Summary:
The Senior Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications that support organizational goals. This role requires advanced technical expertise in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC, along with strong proficiency in SQL and front-end web technologies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a development team. They will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and architecture design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Build and maintain complex web solutions following MVC design principles.
  • Design, build, and implement APIs with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Integrate internal and third-party APIs to enable secure and reliable data exchange across systems.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for web, console, and service-layer applications.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to support application functionality.
  • Support UI implementation and ensure alignment with application architecture and user experience goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to shape requirements and technical strategies.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and recommend modern development practices and patterns.
  • Review code for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in deployment planning and support CI/CD processes where applicable.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including MVC development.
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and related patterns.
  • Ability to evaluate, install, update, and troubleshoot NuGet packages to support application development within Visual Studio.
  • Proficiency in SQL development, optimization, and relational database design.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience using Visual Studio for development and debugging.
  • Ability to design modular, scalable, and maintainable application architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Git or comparable version control platforms.
  • Experience creating and consuming APIs.
  • Understanding of API security standards.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-based architecture.
