City : Decatur State : Indiana (US-IN) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 47232 A Day in the Life:This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur, IN. The Loader (extraction) is responsible for safely and efficiently loading trucks and rail cars with soybean meal in the crush department. Position Details:40 hour week. Must be willing to work weekends and holidaysPay: $30.99 an hourBunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays.What You?ll Be Doing:Move rail cars by operating a switch engineLoad soybean meal and other products in trucks and rail carsFill out all paperwork in accordance with department proceduresOperator computer system to input customer and product informationPerform regular checks and make adjustments on equipment as neededMust have a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site?s food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirementsReport any concerns with safe food practicesAssist other operators as neededFollow good manufacturing practicesMinimum Qualifications:Ability to work safely and follow policies and proceduresBasic computer and mechanical skills Must be able to work at heights and in confined spacesGood communication skillsGood attendancePreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in an industrial environmentAt Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
