About the Role:

Gardner Transport Services is seeking a dependable, independent Class A CDL Driver for a dedicated, local route within Central Indiana. In this role, you will pull a dump trailer and work independently with dispatch support. If you are a safety-first driver with a HazMat endorsement looking for a reliable local route with consistent daily home time, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safe Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a commercial Class A vehicle and dump trailer.

  • Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; accurately complete electronic Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).

  • Compliance: Maintain accurate digital e-logs and load manifests via ELD systems.

  • Maintenance Reporting: Promptly report any vehicle maintenance or mechanical issues to the fleet team.

  • Service Excellence: Manage route time effectively and interact professionally with customers at delivery locations.

Job Requirements (Qualifications):

  • License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).

  • Endorsements: Active HazMat Endorsement is strictly required.

  • Experience: 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred (Dump trailer experience a major plus).

  • Safety First: Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations and inspection compliance.
