If so, Fresh Digital Group (FRSH) has a Developer internship position that works within the Creative/Design Department. FRSH needs someone who performs a variety of tasks while having knowledge of digital & smart assistant tech (Amazon Alexa, Microsoft Cortana, & Google Home) and web development within a business setting, especially in a fast-paced, executing environment.

FRSH is looking for a bright and capableย Developer intern with high energy who is an extremely organized, detail-obsessed leader. A good candidate for this position has the opportunity to work with aย team of developers in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Creative and Design departments. You will spearhead projects that involve utilizing knowledge of Node.js, Javascript, WordPress, SQL, and NoSQL . You must be up to date on the latest digital technology, specifically voice assistants. You must be able to have a vision for creating amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. You should also have superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. You will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. This opportunity provides the Developer intern the opportunity to dive into the brainstorming, experimentation, and execution processes of the digital development landscape of a fast-paced company. It is crucial to have extensive experience of AWS while having some experience designing and maintaining high demand API's. While possessing all the skills above, the Developer intern ideally has experience working on some front-end design and development. In addition, we are looking for a specialist who has experiences with JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, automated testing, and test penetration tools. You willย work cohesively with other the development team and members of the FRSH team as a whole.

Qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Utilize extensive Node.js & Javascript skills for short-term and long-term projects

  • Have extensive knowledge of AWS ย ย ย ย 

  • Have experience designing and maintaining high demand API's

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL

  • Collaborate and work for within a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Utilize experience working with WordPress

  • Utilize JIRA, Automated testing, and test coverage tools to conduct and execute important tasks internally and externally

  • Spearhead front-end development and design initiatives

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas

  • Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders

  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Company startup experience preferred

  • High level of professionalism required

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office and G-Suite

Additional Information

This starts as unpaid, and could be a semester-long internship or become paid sooner. We are hoping you are the best opportunity for hire. A very flexible schedule 3-5 days a week. However, 5 days a week is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. College credit is offered. Qualified graduates will be considered for a full-time position upon completion of internship.
