Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our design team, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into high-quality frontend solutions.
  • Modernize the customer control panel by migrating legacy templates to React and Tailwind CSS.
  • Build accessible, user-friendly UIs for new and existing products across storage, cloud native, and GPU infrastructure teams as well as non-product areas like compliance.
  • Develop and maintain our reusable component library with tools like Storybook.
  • Write clean, well-tested code using frameworks like Jest to ensure reliability and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, and support teammates in debugging complex problems.
  • Continuously champion best practices in frontend development, accessibility (WCAG), and performance.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and help shape the direction of the frontend engineering culture at Vultr.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with hands-on, professional experience in React.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with HTML templating languages (e.g. Twig, Pug, or Jinja).
  • Experience using Webpack or similar tools for bundling JavaScript dependencies.
  • Exposure to backend languages, such as PHP, is a plus.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and component tools like Storybook.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow alongside a fast-moving and growing frontend engineering team.

Compensation
$80,000 - $90,000
Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws.
