Job description

Title :Java/Web Engineer Consultant with AWS technologies.
Location: Holyoke ,MA(Hybrid)
The Consultant will play a key role in a high-priority upgrade and conversion project, contributing immediately upon on boarding. The Consultant will work closely with the IT Development team and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Enhance existing applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
· Interact with Oracle databases using SQL and PL/SQL
· Develop new front end pages with HTLM, CSS, Bootstrap and AJAX
· Enhance existing front ends using Thymleaf, HTML, CSS and AJAX
· Write thorough, correct unit tests using Junit and Mockito
· Deploy code using Jenkins
· Interact with end users to determine requirements
Required Skills:
· Bachelor''s Degree
· Strong proficiency in Java 17/21
· Strong proficiency in Spring MVC
· Experience working with Oracle databases
· Experience building front ends using HTLM, CSS, Bootstrap and AJAX
· Experience writing Unit tests with Junit and Mockito
· Excellent Communication skills
· Highly adaptable and resilient under pressure
· Independent worker able to clear their own blocks NICE TO HAVE
· Experience with PL.SQL skills.
