Job description

This role involves the operation of a variety of powered industrial vehicles-including forklifts, trucks, front-end loaders, and sweepers-to support material handling and transportation needs across the facility. The position includes responsibilities such as loading and unloading cargo, performing routine vehicle maintenance, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, proper equipment use, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
  • Operate various powered industrial vehicles including, but not limited to, trucks, lifts, front end loaders, and sweepers
  • Operates assigned vehicle performing hauling and delivery duties as assigned
  • Loads and unloads cargo
  • Operates forklift to position and move materials, equipment, etc.
  • Maintains and services vehicle needs as required, such as fuel, oil, water, tires, hydraulic systems, battery, etc. 
  • Maintains appropriate records by manual or automated systems
  • Maintains proper housekeeping in work areas and operates equipment in a safe manner
  • Properly uses and maintains company tools and equipment
  • Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
  • Must be able to operate mobile and heavy equipment.
  • Repetitive use of both hands for the duration of your shift.
  • Constant awareness of surroundings.
  • Must be available for weekend and overtime assignments as required.

Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
