Job description

Dark Wolf is seeking a Front End Developer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. This position requires onsite support at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. This team will be based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing a portfolio of professional UI/UX design work. Hands-On with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages.
  • Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components.
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups.
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces.
  • Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years relevant experience performing activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit or non-profit Government support, or development contractor arena
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 3 years of UI/UX Development experience
  • Certifications: SAFe for Teams, Google UX Design, General Assembly UX Design Immersive
  • Experience in the Programming language: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Design Systems, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity and knowledge of: SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL
  • US Citizen and with a Secret security clearance

  • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command

This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
