As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing CAMKey, a mission-critical enterprise service relied upon across multiple systems and users.
This is an opportunity to work on highly visible applications where performance, usability, and scalability directly support national security objectives.
What You'll Do
  • Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces for mission-critical applications
  • Build and maintain front-end components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers, system architects, and mission stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvements that enhance usability across enterprise systems
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field
    • Four (4) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using React
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries
  • Familiarity with advanced React concepts (e.g., hooks, context, performance optimization)
  • Experience developing with TypeScript
  • Exposure to modern UI/UX best practices and component-based architecture

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
