Claratel Behavioral Health has an exciting opportunity for a Front Office Assistant at our Winn Way Office 445 Winn Way Decatur, GA 30030. The Front Office Assistant serves as the first level of contact for the client experience ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
HOURS:
Mon- Fri 8:00am- 5:00pm

Under general supervision, the Front Office Assistant will perform a variety of general clerical duties in support of the daily functions of the program including, but not limited to:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greeting clients and guests upon arrival
  • Facilitating the process of admitting clients to the facility
  • Insurance Verification
  • Scheduling
  • Appointment Reconciliation
  • Verifies Authorizations and Treatment Plans
  • Bed Management and Census Verification
  • Answering multi-line phones and responding to requests immediately
  • Protecting patients' rights through strong adherence of HIPPA regulations
  • Excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written

MNIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Professional front office etiquette
  • Pleasant demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Organization skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Minimum of two years of front desk experience in a medical office or hospital setting
  • Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Proficiency in computer program applications and basic office equipment
  • Strong data entry skills with the ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience working in a mental health environment
  • Completion of a Medical Administrative Assistant program
  • Experience with AVATAR electronic medical record software
