Front Desk Representative - Primary Care Office
Coastal Health
Location: Jacksonville Florida
Position: Full-Time
Coastal Health is looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Representative to join our Primary Care team.
The Front Desk Representative will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check patients in and out for appointments
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance, and other necessary information
  • Collect copays and other patient payments as required
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions
  • Communicate messages to providers and appropriate office staff
  • Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
  • Assist with referrals, records, and other front-office tasks
  • Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed
