Job description

Local Catoosa company looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator at a metal processing recycle yard.

Pay: $20.00+ DOE

Shift Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience operating a crane, excavator, front end loader, skid steer and forklift is mandatory. Attachments such as forks, bucket, grapple, magnet or shear is a huge plus!
  • Ability to grade ferrous and non ferrous Metals.
  • CDL license not required but the ability to drive a standard vehicle is a plus.
  • Experience in a scrap yard, recycling, construction, or industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload customer’s trucks/vehicles.
  • Load and unload metal into high side trailers for shipment.
  • Performs routine maintenance on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
  • Complete inspection report prior to using equipment.
  • Assist with general yard operations as needed.

Must be able to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
