FRONT DESK ATTENDANT
Temporary, Part-Time | Recreation Department | Non-Exempt
Be the friendly face that starts every visitor's experience on the right note.
Montgomery Township is looking for an upbeat, organized Front Desk Attendant who enjoys helping people and can keep pace with a busy Community and Recreation Center.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Welcome visitors, check in members and guests, answer calls, and connect people with the right staff.
โ€ข Share membership, program, facility, and event information.
โ€ข Process cash and credit card payments for memberships, programs, daily fees, rentals, and designated products.
โ€ข Issue recreation equipment, track inventory, and check returned items for damage.
โ€ข Help maintain a clean, safe, organized front desk while explaining and enforcing facility rules.
What You Bring
โ€ข A high school diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข Excellent in-person and telephone customer service skills.
โ€ข Clear communication, attention to detail, and confidence handling simple calculations.
โ€ข The ability to stay focused, organized, and professional when interruptions are frequent.
โ€ข Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience and a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
โ€ข Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification-or the ability to obtain it within one month of hire.
โ€ข The ability to work holidays, weekends, or other hours as needed.

Compensation
Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 5:00 pm - $15.00 per hour
Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm - $17.00 per hour
Saturday and/or Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - $17.00 per hour
