Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Front Desk Receptionist & Client Service Coordinator to create a welcoming experience for every guest at BLO Blow Dry Bar. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while keeping the front desk, salon, and daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Front Desk

  • Greet and welcome clients with a warm, professional attitude.
  • Check clients in and out and ensure a smooth, positive experience.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage client appointments.
  • Manage the salon booking system and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
  • Handle cancellations, late arrivals, and appointment changes professionally.
  • Assist clients with selecting services and answer questions about salon offerings.
  • Process payments and accurately handle transactions.
  • Maintain a professional and inviting front desk and reception area.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.
Salon Cleanliness & Organization

  • Keep the front desk, waiting area, retail area, and common spaces clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Regularly wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces.
  • Help maintain overall salon cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Ensure stations and client areas are neat and presentable.
  • Empty garbage and recycling as needed.
  • Restock front desk, washroom, and salon supplies.
Coffee & Client Hospitality

  • Prepare and offer coffee, tea, and water to clients when appropriate.
  • Keep the coffee/hospitality area clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Ensure clients feel comfortable and well cared for during their visit.
Laundry & Salon Support

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize salon towels and linens.
  • Keep clean towels and linens properly stocked and readily available.
  • Maintain laundry areas and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
  • Assist the salon team with day-to-day tasks as needed.
Team Support & Daily Operations

  • Communicate effectively with stylists and management regarding appointments, client needs, and salon operations.
  • Help open and close the salon according to established procedures.
  • Assist with stocking products and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory of front desk, cleaning, coffee, laundry, and salon supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered.
  • Support promotional activities, retail sales, and client outreach when required.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment.
  • Perform other reasonable duties required to support the smooth operation of the salon.
