Overview
Every trim, wash, and blowout ends in a happy tail wag.
Waggin' Tails Doggie Dude Ranch & Pet Lodge is a full-service animal care facility in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, connected to Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital, so on-site veterinary support is close by if a guest ever needs it. We offer daycare, training, lodging, and grooming under one roof, and we're growing our team. We're looking for a Groomer who takes pride in giving every dog and cat a great grooming experience, and we'd love for you to join us.
What You'll Do
  • Provide a tailored grooming experience for each dog and cat
  • Perform baths, brushing and clipping, nail trims, and ear cleanings
  • Groom both canine and feline guests
  • Stay on schedule for all grooming appointments
  • Communicate clearly with clients about their pet's grooming needs
  • Bring your own grooming tools (clippers, scissors, etc.); Waggin' Tails supplies the table, room, cages, and shampoo

What We're Looking For
  • A compassionate Groomer with 1-2 years of experience
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable managing your own schedule and staying on time for appointments
  • Skilled across a full range of grooming services
  • Open to learning and growing in a supportive team environment

Schedule
  • Full-time or part-time available
  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts
  • No weekends required, though weekend shifts are available if you want them
  • No holiday shifts required
  • Compensation is hourly, plus commission and tips
