Job description

Are you looking for a part-time job to earn supplemental income while caring for pets? As a Part-Time Pet Sitter in the SE Austin area, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pet care and ensuring the well-being of animals in your charge. We are currently hiring a part time pet sitter in the SE Austin area for pets in and around 78744 or 78747. Compensation is on a per visit basis and the schedule varies, depending on when our customers are working or taking vacations. The position includes tips, bonus pay on holidays and visit lengths are typically around 30-45 minutes.

This is a perfect job for someone who is retired, works from home, or makes their own schedule. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, be comfortable with different breeds of dogs, and have excellent customer service skills. We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.

Please only apply if you live in very close to the zip codes 78744, 78747. You would be driving to customer homes to care for pets so we try to find employees who live in certain areas close to customers. Most customers book a 30 minute visit for their pets that is 1, 2 or 3 times a day. Some want a pet sitter to stay overnight in their home for 12 hours. The ability to work Thanksgiving or Christmas is required, as well as doing occasional overnights.
