Lead the clinical direction of a growing cell and gene therapy program

Shape strategy, compliance, and program development

Advance innovation in a rapidly evolving field

Indiana University School of Medicine seeks a physician leader to serve as Clinical Director of Cell and Gene Therapy within the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics. This is a unique opportunity to help guide a well-established but evolving program at a pivotal moment, as the department defines its long-term direction and growth strategy.

The program includes a successful viral vector manufacturing facility and testing laboratory with a strong foundation in gene therapy and an established history of NIH-supported work. With recent leadership transitions and changes in funding, IU is seeking a leader who can bring vision, clinical insight, and strategic direction to its next phase.

The Opportunity

·       Provide clinical and translational strategic leadership for the Cell and Gene Therapy program

The Program

The Cell and Gene Therapy program is part of a comprehensive Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics, supported by a strong clinical and research infrastructure. The program has historically been highly successful and includes expertise in clinical care, laboratory science, and regulatory processes.
