• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, creating tailored treatment plans that meet their individual needs.
• Implement and supervise treatment protocols, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall function.
• Engage with patients, demonstrating compassion and understanding, while providing education and guidance to both patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, using electronic health records to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to contribute to a holistic approach to patient recovery.
• Achieve and meet utilization goals, contributing to the overall business objectives of Stryker Physical Therapy.

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric needs, and sports-related injuries. • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active State Licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with patients, as well as demonstrate empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.

A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is preferred, with a focus on home care settings being advantageous. Expertise in specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurology will set candidates apart.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a competitive benefits package.
